Jury ‘Mutiny’ in Montana

It seems that a prosecutor decided he was unable to seat a jury in a marijuana posession case for a person caught with 1/16th of an ounce of marijuana. On the surface it looks like a case of prosecutorial over-reaching, but look deeper… While a prosecution for 1/16th of an ounce of marijuana is a hard case to make (a drug addict with that amount of marijuana in their posesion would say they have no pot, IMHO), there was a reason for the case to go as far as it did…
